Kimberlin Correa is a Program Specialist with Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity's Critical Home Repair Program, serving low-income homeowners. She received a BA in Economics from the University of Arizona, and has worked in many capacities in the technology, nonprofit and healthcare sectors. In 2015, Kimberlin founded The INN Between, Utah's first and only hospice for the homeless, and one of the first in the nation. She served as the Executive Director for seven years, taking the organization from a 16-bed pilot project in a former convent to a 50-bed Assisted Living Facility Type II. In 2021, Kimberlin spearheaded the passage of Utah House Bill 34, resulting in CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) authorizing a respite care benefit for Medicaid members experiencing homelessness—the first legislation of its kind in the U.S.
