Patty Schwab is a Positive Approach® to Care (PAC) Certified Independent Dementia Care Consultant and owner of Dementia Support Community, LLC in Central Oregon. She graduated from University of Oregon with a BS in Psychology and from University of Utah with a MS in Gerontology and a certificate in Care Management. Since retiring from a 29-year career with the Social Security Administration in 2019, she has focused her attention on holistic psychosocial care and life enrichment for people living with dementia both in memory care and home settings. As a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, Patty is dedicated to supporting person directed and family-centered care while also improving community inclusion of people living with dementia and their care partners.
