Bonnie Shepherd worked in the computer Industry for over 30 years before retiring in 2002. She was caregiver for her husband, Ned, who diagnosed with clinical Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). This experience motivated her to get involved with caregivers for persons with dementia, and she started a support group in 2007. Bonnie served on the Governor’s Task Force for the Utah State Plan on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias, and continues to serve on the Coordinating Council. She is currently on the Utah Alzheimer’s Association Leadership Board.
