Manuel Acevedo is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Southern California Leonard Davis School of Gerontology where he teaches the Adaptive Age-Friendly Environments and Injury Prevention course. He is the Founder & CEO of HelpfulVillage.com, a tech company that helps older adults as they age in their own homes with a little help from their neighbors. In 2020, Aging 2.0 recognized HelpfulVillage.com as worldwide top-10 innovator against social isolation.
